I want to be a Changemaker because...
Being a changemaker isn't just about identifying problems; it's also about coming up with solutions, no matter how unlikely the answer may seem to be. Above all, changemakers are pioneers who are fervently committed to their mission. Failure doesn't discourage them since they are resilient.

🤔 Reflection question
After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?
Gurjot's Answer
We learn new things through CTN that are highly beneficial to us and contribute to our knowledge growth. Root causes, empathise, ideate, prototype, and Pecha Kucha are just a few of the templates provided by CTN that we can use to solve a problem in our community. By using these templates, we can identify the stakeholders and their problems and determine how to define and address each one. We were quite confused prior to working on this modal, but once we got going, it became incredibly exciting.

🤔 Reflection question
What did you learn about publicly sharing your ideas that you will carry with you in your future of work?
Gurjot's Answer
It can be difficult to talk openly about an individualist viewpoint. Furthermore, it is the strength that reveals our potential for incompetence. This transitions into a period of reflection. At the same time, the concept might serve as a goal for a fresh strategy or a concept that the entire society will consider.

🤔 Reflection question
How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?
Gurjot's Answer
You can overcome your fear by prototyping and testing since they demonstrate that it is acceptable to fail and try again. It's acceptable to attempt several times and to fail if you feel like you are struggling or that anything is challenging you.

🤔 Reflection question
How might ideation help you develop your active listening skills to brainstorm and reflect on ideas effectively with your team?
Gurjot's Answer
We can brainstorm ideas both together and individually at the ideate stage. It's excellent for developing concepts and constructing upon others. As I see it, the vision gets better the more concepts that are combined

🤔 Reflection question
How might you explain the value of you having a systems-thinking mindset when attempting to define and understand a complex problem?
Gurjot's Answer
The advantages of having this mentality help us understand and deal with the issue we are currently facing as well as a number of other issues that might come up as a result of our efforts. It explores various angles of every particular subject and all of its linked issues.

🤔 Reflection question
After learning about how to empathize with the people affected by your SDG’s social issue, how you might apply empathy to working with the members on your CTN Innovation Team?
Gurjot's Answer
- I now see how important it is for social workers or other changemakers to comprehend the problems the stakeholders they are dealing with are facing in order to come up with solutions.

🤔 Reflection question
What session inspired you the most during Changemaker in Residency Week, and why?
Gurjot's Answer
The discussion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals—what they are and how to achieve them—was the most motivational session. That's what #ChangetheNow is all about. As changemakers, our mission is to advance the SDGs and transform our society.
