An Invitation to Join #ChangeTheNow
In 2018 Georgian College, Canada’s first Ashoka Changemaker College, wanted to know if they could mobilize students from kindergarten to Post Secondary into a movement, effectively building a region of Changemakers. It was from here that #ChangeTheNow began.
Do Good to Do Well
#ChangeTheNow was created on the beliefs that small acts can lead to big change and collaborations can turn into largescale movements. We believe together students’, educators’ and communities’ ideas can spark systems shifts that make will make our communities greener, healthier, safer, stronger and more inclusive!
Will you join us in creating the positive change and contribute to 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals?

🤔 Reflection question
After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?
Sizakele's Answer
After completing CTN I learned that we all have our own biases. Working in a group also made me aware of my own strengths and weaknesses and those of my fellow team mates.

Jermaine's Answer
For myself, is recognizing the ability to actually take charge and ensuring that was it required of my group and self is done properly and that no one feels left out. For others, is that each of us possess both strength and weaknesses that we can learn from but also to help each other become a better version of each other and creating a sense of acceptance and realizing culture competency and supporting each other as best as we can.

🤔 Reflection question
After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?
Dakshina's Answer
For me CTN was a very new platform to explore the several things as i got to know about the MUVE organizations and their service. Also i explore a lot of thing while doing the activities module. Since i was working in a macro group, i was able to know that how much it is important to listen and communicate with your group member. I got to know that only one member cannot do every thing while working in a group, everyone's efforts and participation is equally important to bring a successful result. Overall, CTN has taught me on how to build a ideas for the project, and how can we solve the problem for the problems we are facing by working in every modules.

Dakshina's Answer
Sharing our ideas publicly really helps us to build a confident and also got to know our ability and our strength and got to know everyone's idea and perspective towards this project. Basically, it help us to enhance our communication skills too and the most importantly every time we share our thoughts and ideas in public platform, we get a lot of feedback on it which i think is very important for everyone to know their mistakes and their strength which is also very important for every SSW in future.

How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?
Dakshina's Answer
As prototype is a way of answering the question we have about our idea or the elements of the idea. It help us to generate the idea on the project we are working on. we got to know more about the stakeholder's problem. we generate this idea on the basis of the real life experience of the stakeholder we have seen yet. this prototype and test stage help us to know that there are possibility to overcome our problems and also there is a solution to our problems.

🤔 Reflection question
How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?
Basilona's Answer
The necessity to test a concept before implementing it necessitates the use of prototyping. As a consequence of the testing, we are aware of their strategies for success, the challenges they experienced, and how we might overcome them in order to effectively execute a certain idea. Given the current situation and the many points of view, this problem was immensely critical.

🤔 Reflection question
How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?
Albin's Answer
We gain a better understanding of the risks associated with the idea and the ways in which it can be further improved to meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders by prototyping and testing it.We discovered that an idea cannot be perfect without being prototyped and tested numerous times to eliminate flaws. It taught us to persevere with a task until the desired outcome was achieved, which helped us overcome our fear of failure.

How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?
Jithin's Answer
The need to test an idea before implementing it makes prototyping essential. As a result of the testing, we are aware of their methods for success, the difficulties they encountered, and the ways in which we can overcome them to implement a particular idea successfully. Given that we are aware of the current circumstances and various points of view, this challenge was extremely significant.
