Aashish's #ChangeTheNow Passport
I want to be a Changemaker because...
I think that problems might arise at any time in our rapidly evolving world and that they must be resolved in order to sustain positive prosperity.
Since I believe that a smart way of thinking and functioning allows for an innovative viewpoint on looking at things, I want to help the community to the best of my ability and with whatever knowledge I have. This is what interests me.
So, the reason I want to be a changemaker is to put my inventive perspective to use, and most significantly, to aid the community and come up with unique solutions to critical problems.
My Changemaker Pathway
I am a Intrapreneur
I want to take responsibility for making change in whatever community or organization I am apart of.
My UN Sustainable Development Goal

As part of #ChangeTheNow, I’m working on solving UN Sustainable Development Goal 11: making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

🤔 Reflection question
How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?
Aashish's Answer
Prototyping assists in giving ideas a tangible form, and testing provides feedback from users that provides an early indication of failure or success. What it does is provide an idea of whether or not things will work. Accepting feedback allows for some work to be done on the loopholes suggested by those viewing the prototype, which ultimately helps to overcome the fear of failure. It also helps to challenge early assumptions, as after prototyping we are able to determine whether or not these assumptions were correct.

🤔 Reflection question
How might ideation help you develop your active listening skills to brainstorm and reflect on ideas effectively with your team?
Aashish's Answer
Ideation helps to create many aspects of a given thing. When ideas are developed and heard in the team, it also promotes active listening because doing so allows participants to fully engage with the topic by hearing different points of view from other people. Working on ideation promotes the development of abilities like active listening, which promote brainstorming and productive idea reflection with the team.

🤔 Reflection question
How might you explain the value of you having a systems-thinking mindset when attempting to define and understand a complex problem?
Aashish's Answer
"Systems-thinking" makes it simpler to comprehend difficult material and assists in locating any potential knowledge gaps that may be present. The significance of this lies in the fact that it provides assistance to us in our research of the basic causes. In addition, systematic thinking connects the disparate elements of a problem, examines every angle of the concern, and finally contributes to the resolution of issues that are difficult to solve.

🤔 Reflection question
After learning about how to empathize with the people affected by your SDG’s social issue, how you might apply empathy to working with the members on your CTN Innovation Team?
Aashish's Answer
After learning about the SDG issue and how to empathize with those affected by it, I will now have more empathy for my teammates. Within the team, I will now see each team member's strengths and weaknesses, their problems, and try to sit down with them and find a solution with them as this is crucial when working in a team. I will therefore use empathy when working with the members of my CTN innovation team by attempting to understand their thoughts, feelings, and challenges and then collaborating with them to arrive at a desirable solution.

🤔 Reflection question
After completing the Mobius Strip exercise, what do you feel are next steps towards contributing to the community you care about?
Aashish's Answer
I believe that after completing the mobius strip, I have a better understanding of the me and we, both views, and how values might differ. The following stages would be to raise awareness of changemaking and to both personally and as a team seek solutions to these essential concerns in order to effect positive change. Now, after the exercise, this knowledge will be used for next steps as well as in the actual world.

🤔 Reflection question
What did you personally learn about the process of creating your team canvass?
Aashish's Answer
I learned how various people might have varied weaknesses, strengths, goals, values, and more with the use of Team Canvas. The development of teamwork skills and the achievement of a shared, significant goal with the team were both aided by the creation of a team canvas. Therefore, creating a team canvas was a crucial first step in our project.
