π€ Reflection question
After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?
Andrea's Answer
This process, allowed me to learn new ways of looking at a problem and how important it is to be aware of what is happening in our communities and around the world. I am going to continue to explore change-making ideas to help communities with gaps in inclusiveness and accessibility. I will also take with me the understanding that sometimes the smallest steps can have a significant impact. This experience has also helped me understand what I want to do once I graduate from Child and Youth Care. The CTN experience is one that I will never forget.

π€ Reflection question
What did you learn about publicly sharing your ideas that you will carry with you in your future of work?
Andrea's Answer
I have learned that everyone has ideas and the more that we share our thoughts and ideas the greater chance we have at making change. Sharing your ideas can be scary and vulnerable, however, it takes courage and collaboration with others to take an idea and build upon it. This process has confirmed for me that change-making is a path I am meant to be on.

π€ Reflection question
How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is βrightβ?
Andrea's Answer
The prototype stage allows you to be fearless while you work through different possible scenarios and challenges to come up with a viable solution. I love knowing and understanding that I may not get it right the first time or the 1oth time, it's knowing that I am starting each time with a little bit more experience and knowledge, and with every attempt, I am getting a little closer to the result. Embrace fear and your mistakes and failures and see them as stepping stones, not roadblocks. When we are able to do all of these things is when we will be able to get to the "right" solution.

π€ Reflection question
How might ideation help you develop your active listening skills to brainstorm and reflect on ideas effectively with your team?
Andrea's Answer
The ideate stage allowed us to expand on our ideas as well and really brainstorm and expand on existing ideas. My team and I have always participated in active listening. Through active listening, we have been able to build on each other ideas which allowed us to build a much stronger vision for our project.

π€ Reflection question
How might you explain the value of you having a systems-thinking mindset when attempting to define and understand a complex problem?
Andrea's Answer
The system-thinking mindset allows us to see different perspectives of a problem, what exists in those problems, and possible leverage points to make changes to the problem.

π€ Reflection question
After learning about how to empathize with the people affected by your SDGβs social issue, how you might apply empathy to working with the members on your CTN Innovation Team?
Andrea's Answer
The empathize module allowed me to see and feel others' emotions and struggles as well as their strengths. Empath mapping was a great exercise to challenge what we hear, see, feel. We went through several empathy mapping exercises to find the common denominators with our stakeholders. It has shown me that empathy can be and should be a lens we look through no matter who we are dealing with. Our ability to empathize will allow us to understand and work toward win/win solutions.

What did you personally learn about the process of creating your team canvass?
Andrea's Answer
This was a great activity to go through to get to know the team members but also to understand that as we progress through this project the Team Canvas will change.

π€ Reflection question
After completing the Mobius Strip exercise, what do you feel are next steps towards contributing to the community you care about?
Andrea's Answer
This was a very interesting exercise. This exercise showed me how important and connected ME/WE are and that it takes ME/WE to make change happen. I remember hearing the phrase, "It takes a village to raise a child". "ME" as a person can be inspired by an idea, however, it takes "WE" to create lasting positive, sustainable change.
