    πŸ€” Reflection question

After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?

    Jermy Mariya's Answer

The CTN was a fresh and engaging experience. It aided in my understanding that even a tiny effort may help bring about significant societal change. I was better able to comprehend the significance of each system stakeholder. In order to confront a societal issue and come up with solutions, I learned about fresh, creative approaches.Because I worked in a large group, I was able to see how crucial it is to talk and listen to your group members. I learned that everyone's efforts and involvement matter just as much while working in a group as it does when working alone.

    πŸ€” Reflection question

What did you learn about publicly sharing your ideas that you will carry with you in your future of work?

    Jermy Mariya's Answer

By disclosing our ideas to the world, we leave ourselves up to diverse viewpoints, views, and recommendations on the idea. By adding the elements that could have been overlooked, it might aid in further developing the concept. The Pecha-Kucha pitch presentation taught us how to better communicate our ideas via storytelling.

    πŸ€” Reflection question

How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is β€˜right’?

    Jermy Mariya's Answer

Prototyping is required when a notion has to be tested before being put into practise. As a result of the testing, we are aware of their success factors, their roadblocks, and how we could get beyond them to successfully implement a certain idea. The urgency of this issue was further heightened by the current circumstances and the diversity of viewpoints.

    πŸ€” Reflection question

How might ideation help you develop your active listening skills to brainstorm and reflect on ideas effectively with your team?

    Jermy Mariya's Answer

Honestly, speaking our team struggled a bit with ideation stage as it was hard for everyone to listen to each others ideas and thought process and act accordingly but listening to those ideas was the one thing that helped me and my team in getting through the stage with ease as each of us put more of ur efforts into it to get a better outcome.

    πŸ€” Reflection question

How might you explain the value of you having a systems-thinking mindset when attempting to define and understand a complex problem?

    Jermy Mariya's Answer

A person can look just by thinking. Systems thinking is a problem-solving strategy. Normally, when an issue develops, we strive to fix it, but with system thinking, we can tackle everything that surrounds that problem. This mentality also shows you a difficult problem from a variety of views, which can provide critical information and ideas such as approaches.

    πŸ€” Reflection question

After learning about how to empathize with the people affected by your SDG’s social issue, how you might apply empathy to working with the members on your CTN Innovation Team?

    Jermy Mariya's Answer

To me, Empathy means to put yourself in one's shoes and understand what someone is going through. By doing the empathy map, I got to know and understand what the disabled and elderly are going through and what were the problems they were facing with accessing transportation and I could also identify and put to use the solutions found.
