    🤔 Reflection question

After completing CTN, what new awareness do you have for yourself (ME) and your community (WE) and what is one action you might take to continue to explore it?

    Sylesh's Answer

Awareness among students about housing scams is important and that is what we learned is missing in the community but needed very much. That is why our website will help in spreading awareness. I will continue to spread information about scams for students who are coming to Canada to help them understand the various issues.

    🤔 Reflection question

How might the prototype & test stage help you with overcoming a fear of failure or challenging your assumptions about what is ‘right’?

    Sylesh's Answer

We as a team created a website for helping students in finding houses. So the website itself once it was live helped us understand what needs to be done more in the website. Once we have a prototype we are actually able to see our idea grow and that helps in understanding that this is a good thing.

    🤔 Reflection question

How might ideation help you develop your active listening skills to brainstorm and reflect on ideas effectively with your team?

    Sylesh's Answer

It helped us in creating a supportive environment that helped all the team members getting their own space and how they can express their ideas. Also making sure that none of the team members were interrupted while talking and that there is a proper platform to talk. We also encouraged diverse perspectives.

    🤔 Reflection question

How might you explain the value of you having a systems-thinking mindset when attempting to define and understand a complex problem?

    Sylesh's Answer

A system-thinking approach helped us understand all parts of the problems and solve it in a systematic way. This made sure that we covered all parts of the problem and kept asking the question why this is happening to get to the root cause of all the problems.

    🤔 Reflection question

After learning about how to empathize with the people affected by your SDG’s social issue, how you might apply empathy to working with the members on your CTN Innovation Team?

    Sylesh's Answer

Understanding the circumstances of each of the team members was important to work with them. It helped me understand what was more important for them personally and how to empathize with them
